This week they had the famous David Chicken performing for all the kids at the DMA. Our boys loved it and my son’s friend, just over 2 years of age, got up on stage for one of the songs. Not only did she do awesome but she danced funkier than all the rest.
Click here for the youtube video of miss precious dancing funky and the Emmy Award Winning, family entertainer, David Chicken. If you haven’t done this with your child yet, here is a fun idea, play the youtube video for your kids, at home, while you dance and sing along with the video. I often do this at home with my son. Here is another video with David Chicken to play for your kids. Don't forget to sing and dance with!
Above, these pictures show our boys playing with their crafted birds. I love how the DMA has a different theme every Tuesday. This day, via David Chicken, the theme was birds. After crafts and shows, they have a family lead tour through the museum looking for all birds via the art. Here are some more fun pictures from our trip to the DMA. Still my favourite place to attend with my child and friends. We love going especially for the Free Tuesday Events.
Again, our kids had so much fun with the crafts.
Love the picture to the right. Both our sons were using scissors for the first time. Yes that is a look of uncertainty on my friends face.
The pictures below are funny because you can see a “trendy” gravitational pull on what the “boys” vs “girls” preferred for playing. Click here for a list of answers to questions for the Free Tuesday Events at the Museum.
If you haven’t checked out the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit, hurry, click here for more info on the exhibit. Tomorrow is the last day. It is a wonderful exhibit!!
